Wider rear housings need enough room between neighboring modules. The panel is a mechanical holder; it does not determine cable category, speed, shielding or electrical performance. What is the difference between 5, 8 and 10 ports?
The panels share the same 254 × 43 × 10.4 mm outside dimensions. Five ports have 38 mm center spacing, eight have 26.2 mm and ten have 20.4 mm. Choose the spacing that suits your jack bodies and cable layout.
Will every keystone jack fit?
Keystone housing and latch shapes vary by manufacturer. Compare your modules with the pictured style and leave room for neighboring rear housings and latch release. This is a mechanical panel; electrical performance depends on your jacks and cabling.
